The purpose for Missions for Christ Ministries (MCM) Worship Center “Night of Fellowship and Worship” is to reinforce our beliefs as well as to help believers focus on Christ and His desires and goals for their lives. As iron sharpens iron, in a true Christian environment, Christians sharpen one another’s faith and stir one another to exercise their faith in God. This is also a night where our worship team leads us deep into the presence of God creating an atmosphere of intimacy with the Lord. We believe that in such atmospheres, miracles happens even as the presence of the Lord intensifies. We encourage church members to bring their friends, family and their neighbors and to come expecting their miracle.
Why is it a special night?
It is a special evening to relax in God’s presence and a special time where we have a bit more freedom without the constraints of what is required of a typical Sunday morning gathering / services. Is is a special time of meeting, getting to know each other and fellowship. People from all denomination backgrounds and culture are welcome!
This is one of my favorite times of ministry. Our worship nights typically don’t have a sermon or teaching time. They tend to be more expressive, the hymns tends to be a bit louder and fuller, and the interaction with our Heavenly Father tend to draw all those that come and participate closer to God. We do NOT limit “worship” to just our chosen music and songs. We allow Holy Spirit to have full sway. It is a “Night of Worship” – where we flow with whatever Holy Spirit wants. Our focus is to simply worship our creator God and give Him adoration.
I’ve been asked by several people to share how I plan these services. I can say that no “Night of Worship” is ever really ever the same. Each night is different depending on what Holy Spirit wants to do in each particular night. We don’t have any pre-arranged ideas or agenda and we opt out to choose any agenda or theme. We simply gather to worship the Lord our creator!
