Our Beliefs, Vision, Mission, Core values & Commitment

MCM church worship service

Missions for Christ Ministries (MCM) is a Christ-centered ministry and church where people from every tribe and nation are welcome and gather to worship God, our eternal Father either via our online services or at location. Worshippers find a caring ministry team dedicated to providing spiritual guidance through an intensive study of God’s Word. It is our goal to provide a progressive Pentecostal atmosphere through the union of God’s Word and the move of the Holy Spirit.

Our Beliefs

  1. We believe the Bible to be an inspirational and authoritative Word of God (2 Peter 1:21).
  2. We believe in the Holy Trinity, which consists of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14) Three in one, one in three.
  3. We believe in the Diety & sovereignty of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his atoning death, his bodily resurrection, and his ascension to the right hand of the Father (1 Timothy 3:16)
  4. We believe in salvation through the redemption of Christ (Hebrews 9:22).
  5. We believe in Christs’ bodily return in power and great Glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 20:4 and Daniel 7:14).
  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – they that are NOT saved unto the resurrection of eternal punishment. (John 5:28-29 and Revelation 20:15) and those that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life (John 3:16)
  7. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46; and Acts 19:6; and the present ministry of the Holy Spirit through the believers including the gifts, and the fruits of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:11; 1 Corinthians 12:8-11 and Galatians 5:22-23).
  8. We believe in divine healing as obtained on the basis of the atonement (Isaiah 53:1-5; 1 Peter 2:24)
  9. We believe in Holy Matrimony. We believe in the sanctity of marriage and that scriptural teaching is that of monogamy and only between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24; Mathew 5:32; Mark 10:7-9; Romans 7:2; 1 Corinthians 7:10; 1 Timothy 3:12; and Hebrews 13:4) Please be advised the church will not perform ceremonies outside these beliefs.
  10. We believe in the believers baptism in the water by immersion. We believe that such baptism is a testimony to the Word of the inward work of grace and as a confession of ones personal experience of salvation as scriptural (Mathew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12; and 1 Peter 3:21). Examples of believer baptisms – Acts 8:38; Acts 16:33; Acts 18:8; and Acts 19:5).
  11. We believe in fellowship of the Lords Supper (Mathew 26:26; Mark 14:22; Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 10:16; and 1 Corinthians 11:23-27).
  12. We believe that as children of God, we are over-comers and more than conquerors and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us (John 10:10, Phillipians 4:19, Psalms 138:8).

Our Commitment

We realize that the vision to accomplish what God has called us to do is NOT dependent on our own ability BUT Gods power and anointing. We have made a commitment to spend time in the presence of God prior to each service whether it is at location or online. The purpose is to seek His direction and guidance of the Spirit of God for each service (Romans 8:14).

We ask for you to join our services expecting God’s Glory / presence. We believe that this vision is in place to help with the plan of God to build His work unto His Glory in the earth (Jeremiah 29:11).

We want to remind you that you are special to God, He loves you and He has a special plan for your life as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11. You have an important part to play in the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12 declares; “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many”. 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 says; “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. Verse 28; And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues”. We encourage you to find your place in the church where God has called you to serve and do it with all of your heart. (Please read the whole of first Corinthians chapter 12 and chapter 13).
