In the Biblical account of creation we read how God made everything and then “God looked at everything he had made, and he found it very good” (Genesis 1:31). In the case of humanity, we read that “God created mankind in his image; in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). After God created the world, we see and read that He created man and gave him authority and dominion over His creation.
Not only did God make everything good, but he loves everything that he made, and by his power all things remain in existence. “For you love all things that are and loathe nothing that you have made; for you would not fashion what you hate. How could a thing remain, unless you willed it; or be preserved, had it not been called forth by you? But you spare all things, because they are yours, O Ruler and Lover of souls” (Solomon 11:24-26).
In this ministry, we believe that God created all things for us to enjoy. There is a-lot of contradictions on this subject matter but God want ministry to be fan as we serve Him. That is why Missions for Christ Ministries elected to provide opportunities for our church members and those others who desire to take a vacation once in while to join us on what we call “enjoyment missions”.
For what purpose did God create the world?
In general, Scripture teaches us that God created the world and all that is in it for His own glory and because He desired to share His joy with His children. The creation of all these things demonstrates His glory, His love, grace, mercy, wisdom, power, goodness, (Psalm 19:1; 8:1; 50:6; 89:5).
Why does God want us to enjoy life?
God created us to LIVE AND ENJOY LIFE AS WE SERVE HIM and not to be busy all the time wearing ourselves out. We need rest, peace, and enjoyment as we serve in His Kingdom. 1 Timothy 6:17 17Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
How do you Enjoy life!
- Rejoice in the Lord always in whatever you do in this life
- Do what is Biblically fun and what refreshes you
In Genesis 1:27-30 we read:
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

I have called you to enjoy Me and enjoy the good things I have created including;
- Your beloved ones.
- Your family.
- Your friends.
- My creation.
- The hobbies I gave you.
So many of God’s precious children live in the tensions of this world. They live exhausted, tied, angry and stressed. We need to understand that God is longing for His children to come into His rest. To shake off all heavy burdens, weights and unnecessary duties so they can enjoy life. Jesus Christ said: My yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:30). WE BELIEVE – LIVE SHOULD BE FUN WITH GOD!
The DONT’S
- Don’t allow people to rush you.
- Don’t allow religion to rush you.
- Don’t even allow the church to rush you and finally
- Don’t stress
You have worked so hard in this life.
