Is Divine Healing For Believers Today?

Bible Fellowship
The greatest evidence to divine healing revealed

The ministry of both Jesus and the apostles gives evidence that divine healing was integral to the proclamation of the gospel message. The Bible also gives us many examples of individuals who were healed of serious problems, including leprosy, blindness and being crippled. God even restored physical life to some who had died. God performed these miracles through men like Elijah and Elisha and, in the New Testament, through the original apostles.

God’s Word is spoken of in Proverbs 4:22 as being medicine to all of our flesh. Psalms 107:20 tells us God sent His Word and healed us. According to Isaiah 53:5-6 and 1 Peter 2:24, healing is guaranteed as far as far as God is concerned.

In order to receive divine healing, you have to have faith in the healer – our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith comes by hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith begins where the will of God is known. God wants us to be well. When you trust in God and testify of His goodness, you will live victorious and healthy in this life.

We believe that God is always good, Jesus came to give us “life and life more abundantly, (John 10:10b). It is always God’s will to heal. It is the devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy. As we pray, we expect and see results and have many powerful testimonies of God’s goodness and healing power.

You must allow Your faith, confidence, self-esteem, and attitude about your life in Christ to grow and increase in this area

You do not have to be sick to come to healing school. Come while you are well, for the purpose of becoming fully equipped for any battle and also to learn how to effectively minister the healing power of God to yourself and others. It is time to get healthy and fit so we can proclaim the Good News to the lost, poor, broken, and the sick.

If there is no divine healing today, then let us leave it. But if there is divine healing in the life and cross and present day ministry of redemption of our dear Lord Jesus Christ, let us pursue it with all our might.

Divine healing as the atonement of Jesus

The Word of God clearly reveals that healing is a part of the atonement of Jesus (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17) and Jesus’ earthly ministry clearly demonstrated that it is always God’s will to heal. Not once did Jesus turn away from a request for healing. In fact, 17 times in the gospels Jesus healed all of the sick that were present and 47 times he healed one or two people at a time. Ministering and receiving healing is really more about God’s goodness and grace and the price Jesus paid on the cross than it is about our performance. If you are in need of healing, we encourage you to not only call for a healing prayer appointment, but to also attend our weekly healing services.

In addition, one of the most important things you can do to strengthen your faith for healing is to plant the Word of God in your heart concerning healing and divine health. Make it a habit to intentionally read and declare healing promises from scripture over yourself daily, thanking and praising God for His love, faithfulness, and healing promises.

God’s promises concerning divine health
  1. Healing is the children’s bread. (Matt 15:21–27)
  2. We were healed at the cross, in addition to being forgiven of sin. (1 Peter 2:24)
  3. Jesus’ sacrifice purchased everything for man’s highest good. (Isaiah 53:4–5)
  4. God healed all our diseases. (Psalm 103:3-5)
  5. His will is for a long and satisfied life. (Ps 91:15 – 16)
  6. Above all things, He desires us to prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. (3 John 2)
  7. Jesus is the same yesterday and forever (Hebrews 13:8)
  8. He is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34)
