The power of speaking to the mountain (Your Problems) in the Name of Jesus Christ

You are listening to:The power of speaking to the mountain (Your Problems) in the Name of Jesus Christ

Mark 11:23-25

Whosoever shall say to this mountain, be thou removed and cast into the see and shall NOT doubt in their heart…Mark 11:23-25

There comes a moment when you must quit talking to God about the mountain in your life and start talking to the mountain about your God. You proclaim His power. You declare His sovereignty. You affirm His faithfulness. You stand on His Word. You cling to His promises.

Goliath held an entire army captive through fear. His weapon was intimidation.

Our enemy – the devil thrives on intimidating believers. He prowls around like a roaring lion. The devil comes but to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10A). Jesus has come so we may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10 (b).

Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. When he roars, everything is shaken. All authority under heaven and on earth is His. We are God’s children.

We need to constantly decree – NOT only during times of danger but at all times scriptures like:

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:1): The One who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).  “In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

What did Jesus do when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness? He fell back on the Word of God He used it like a skillfully and the Word worked for Him. He wasn’t just defending Himself; He was delivering blows by citing chapter and verse!

Maybe we need to quit playing defense and start playing offense. Maybe we need to quit letting our circumstances get between us and God and let God get between us and our circumstances.

Maybe we need to stop talking to God about our problem and start talking to our problem about God.

We Are More Than Conquerors

It’s time to claim the victory that has already been won at Calvary. The Bible says, we are not conquerors but we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus – Amen!.

Jesus proclaimed the victory when He said, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Let me make two observations First, notice the pronouns He did not say, “You will build My church”; He said, “will build My church” The key pronouns are and My The church belong to Jesus Christ. So does the battle. So does the victory.

Second, it says that the gates of Hades will not prevail Gates are defensive measures, which means, by definition, that the Church is on the offense.

We need to hit our knees morning, day and evening in prayer. When we hit our knees, we pick a fight with the enemy. We are immediately transported to the front lines of the Kingdom, where we wage war with principalities and powers. That is where the battle is won or lost — on our knees! And when we hit our knees, God fights our battles for us.

All of us have impossible people in our lives and sometimes all we can do is circle them in prayer. It’s the only way to keep our attitude in check. Our prayers have the power to change any impossible circumstance poised to you by the enemy.  So every time you get angry, go into prayer mood. I have personally prayed for people who have once hurt me for several months and sometimes years before I can see victory and reconnect with them.

I learned that we don’t have to be afraid of the enemy’s attacks. These attacks are counterproductive when we counteract them with prayer. The more opposition we experience, the harder we have to pray. And the harder we have to pray; the more miracles God does on our behalf.
