God’s anointing in relation to the coming Glory

The anointing and the coming Glory

I think we can all agree that the past few months have turned our entire world upside down. So much that what we took for granted every day was suddenly gone. Life is simply NOT what it used to be.

Even as the world continues to face an international pandemic, geopolitical turmoil, and economic chaos, and even as fear and uncertainty have seemingly become the “new norm,” what God saying through His Holy written Word is that restoration and deliverance is due to believers again.

Let us look at the Glorious Future of Zion as in Isaiah 35:1-10

35 1  The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. 2  It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. 3  Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. 4  Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

5  Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6  Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. 7  And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass [2] with reeds and rushes. 8  And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. 9  No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: 10  And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

There is an anointing which is going to be released on covenant believers as we have never known before! There is a change coming, as spoken of in Isaiah 35. The spiritual climate is shifting. It is intensifying. We must be ready!

In Isaiah 35:1-2, we are told about “the glory of Lebanon.” This refers to changes in the atmosphere that happen during rain, growth, fresh winds, and clear skies when “waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water” Isaiah 35:6-7 declares, then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;  the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

This verses describes healings, the removal of evil, and an appearance of a highway which shall be called the Way of Holiness.

Isaiah 35:10, says; “…everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” That is good news!

According to Isaiah 35, it is important to understand that when the winds brought a new, the evil is replaced with refreshing atmosphere. We read in Isaiah 35 and verses 7 that even as the “haunt of jackals” was destroyed (verse 7) and the ravenous beasts were banished (verse 9), the eyes of the blind were opened. The ears of the deaf were unstopped. The lame man leapt like a deer. The mute person’s tongue sang for joy!

In other words, where there was once desolation and danger, the land was filled with plenty, peace, and pleasantness. Are you expecting change for the good or worse? God is saying – speak the good, receive from him and sing praises to Him, embrace the good — and keep expecting the good only! AMEN!
